Unexpected Benefits of Telehealth

Retaining excellent employees is something Provident works hard to achieve. When Marge Schicker, who’s been on our clinical staff for 18 years, said she was moving to Indiana, the team got creative.

“Offering telehealth services became a necessity this year in response to COVID. It’s also allowed us to keep excellent clinicians who’s life circumstances have shifted,” said Director of Clinical Services Lindsay Jefferies.

A second clinician, Angela Wallace, was also able to maintain her caseload when she moved to Florida.

“Keeping Marge and Angela connected to their clients is a great benefit to the people we serve. It means they won’t have to restart therapy with a new provider and experience a disruption while moving forward in their treatment goals,” said Jefferies.
