Provident Launches New TeleHope Program for Older Adults

News, Views

Provident’s newest program, TeleHope, was recently launched to serve adults over age 55 who are experiencing social isolation, depression, anxiety, or thoughts of suicide. The program is for residents of St. Louis City and there is no cost associated for participants.

“Participants will receive regular phone calls from a Provident team member a few times a week, helping them feel connected and cared for,” said Rachel Elmore, Clinical Supervisor, IRTS. “Our staff will also evaluate symptoms and link callers with the care they need to live happier lives.”

We thank our program partners: United Way Greater St. Louis, Saint Louis Mental Health Board, and the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging.
