Provident Is Now Known As Provident Behavioral Health

News

April 2019 (St. Louis, MO) – Provident, a nonprofit organization with a 159-year history of service to the St. Louis region, is pleased to announce they will now be known as Provident Behavioral Health.

The change is a major part of an ongoing strategic planning process that included the adoption of a new mission statement in early 2018: Building brighter futures through exceptional behavioral health services, especially for those with the greatest need.

“Becoming Provident Behavioral Health is a revision that captures the full spirit of our mission. It represents our commitment to the behavioral well-being of this community and the broad range of services we provide through our counseling services, afterschool programming, crisis intervention/suicide prevention, and advocacy,” said the organization’s president and executive director, Kevin Drollinger.

The new name is effective immediately and will be integrated into the organization’s services and communications throughout 2019.
