News, Views

Provident received a three-year grant from the Jefferson Foundation to triple the number of therapists serving the area.
“The combination of funding from the Foundation and a partnership with the Jefferson County Health Department is what made this opportunity possible,” said Kevin Drollinger.
Provident first began serving Jefferson County in the summer of 2018 after an assessment by the Foundation named mental health a “crisis-level priority.” This year saw the formation of new Survivors of Suicide groups as well as school-based counseling options. Our team has provided 953 service units to date in Jefferson County through various programs.
