LINK Program Will Serve Long After a Crisis
Provident is expanding the ways we can support people experiencing a behavioral health crisis through LINK: Listening. Intervention. Navigation. Kindness. Funded by a three-year federal grant, the new program will allow our team to provide more structured, long-term follow-up to individuals across Missouri after an immediate crisis. We are especially excited about the partnership this creates between Provident and Mercy Behavioral Health, and Barry County 911 EMS.
For Provident, LINK creates an important new way to serve our clients. While our 988 team is there when someone needs help in the moment, LINK gives us the opportunity to stay connected for a minimum of three months, helping people navigate behavioral health and recovery services, engage in treatment, and reduce the likelihood of another crisis.
