Provident CEO Kevin Drollinger and Director of Life Crisis Services Jane Smith testified before the Missouri Senate on February 14 to help promote the passage of SB 846. The bill would require suicide prevention training for all mental health professionals in Missouri. Provident currently receives many calls each year from people within the industry seeking advice on how to deal with suicidal people.“We’re continuing to make great headway with this legislation. We’ve worked with representatives of both parties, testifying before both the house and the senate, to share our expertise on how to help those who are in crisis,” said Drollinger.
