Provident is pleased to announce that Gail Sharpe has been promoted to Program Director for Afterschool. Gail has been a leader in the department for two years and will now oversee all day-to-day operations as well as create the vision for how the program will evolve to meet the children’s needs.

“I love that I get to work with all levels of our organization, helping leadership meet big-picture benchmarks while also developing my team. But the best part of my job is seeing young people light up when they discover something new about themselves,” said Sharpe.

Gail was responsible for connecting Provident with the YMCA’s Design for Change program, which promotes STEAM skills. She also represents the organization through local and and state education boards.
