Every tattoo has a special significance for the inked, but none more so than the semicolon.
It is a symbol of resilience, of a time when the bearer could have chosen to end their life but instead decided to continue their story.
The staff at St. Charles Tattoo is holding their 3rd Annual Semicolon Tattoo Event on Friday, December 14. Customers will get special pricing for their ink and access to on-site counseling from Provident.
“This is one of our busiest days of the year, with people lining up to get their semicolon. So many of our customers have been touched by mental health challenges – either personal or through someone they care about,” says Elizabeth Davie, co-owner of St. Charles Tattoo. “Our staff feels great about helping them make a permanent statement of strength.”
