Students in Provident’s Afterschool Program celebrated Black History Month in February with a variety of special projects.

The team developed creative lessons and kept it interesting by adding some modern messaging. Highlights included making paper Kente cloths, Black History famous Black people memorial, Kevin Hart’s Black History movie day, and “SUNday,” where they enjoyed dinner and snack outdoors in a half circle as a group.
