Chantel Neal has been a Provident after-school site supervisor in the Jennings School District for 10 years. She has two Master’s Degrees and is a teacher at Fairview Heights Elementary.
What is your favorite thing about being a part of the Afterschool team? My favorite thing about my job is being able to do things with the students outside of the regular school day. Things like dancing, singing, exercising, and doing crafts.
What is the most important thing you do in your work?
The care that I am helping to provide to students outside of the regular school day is so important not only to the students but to the community. The students and their families are connected to community resources through Provident and students are getting quality care and academic enrichment that they would not otherwise be able to afford.What are your hobbies?
I would say that I am an avid exercise person. I enjoy running and Spinning. I also love to travel.What is your favorite quote or proverb?
