Provident Provides 24 Hour Mental Health Support to Wash U Students

News, Views

In March, Provident announced a new partnership with Washington University in St. Louis to provide mental health access to students through an after-hours helpline

Washington University students are currently offered physical and mental health support through the Habif Health and Wellness Center, located on the Danforth Campus. The partnership with Provident ensures students have a continuous source of mental health support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
“Washington University in St. Louis is excited to offer this service. College students on all campuses have a lot of stressors, including being away from home for the first time, academic and financial pressure, and relationship challenges. Washington University wants to remove barriers and give its students every opportunity to succeed,” said Dr. Thomas Brounk, Director, Mental Health Services-Habif Health and Wellness Center at Washington University.
