September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to reflect on the life-saving impact of Provident’s Crisis Services in our community. In 2024 (last reported year), our team supported 26,737 individuals an average of 73 people every day, or three people every hour.
Clients consistently tell us how much these services matter. Highlights from a recent satisfaction survey include:
- 4.5 out of 5 – clients “strongly agree” services are affordable, easy to access, timely, and high quality.
- 4.7 out of 5 – Staff are compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable – with clients reporting they feel treated with dignity and respect.
- 9.4 out of 10 – clients say they are likely or extremely likely to use Provident’s Crisis Services again.
These numbers reflect more than satisfaction; they demonstrate trust, compassion, and the difference our staff makes in people’s lives. Together, we are building hope and ensuring no one in crisis has to face it alone.
