Learning, Growing, Achieving Through Positive Behavioral Health

Enriching lives beyond the classroom for St. Louis students

It's a question every family with elementary students must answer: How will we fill the hours after school? Provident Behavioral Health's unique, fun, and safe programming enriches young lives and helps working parents who might otherwise struggle to meet their employment and family responsibilities.

Provident's Afterschool program keeps kids safe, boosts student success, and helps parents keep their jobs. Kids achieve more, productivity goes up, risky behaviors go down, and families are stabilized.

Our caring and experienced school-based teams provide academic support, hot meals, social and life skills, recreation opportunities, character development, and on-site therapeutic support in 6 public school sites within the Jennings and City of St. Louis districts. A lesson plan is prepared each day to ensure a balanced and complete program for our kids. We do all of this using evidence-based social emotional learning curriculum.

Afterschool programs run from 3:00 - 6:00 pm throughout the school year and in some schools during the month of June.  Our dedicated afterschool staff are passionate about providing the best possible experiences and life skills to broaden children's horizons.

Provident's program is offered at the following schools:

St. Louis Public School District

Bryan Hill Elementary

Hamilton Elementary

Jefferson Elementary

Fairview Primary and Intermediate

Woodland Elementary

St. Louis Archdiocese
St. Frances Cabrini Academy

This program is made possible through generous funding from St. Louis ARCHS. Provident is also a proud member of the After School for All Partnership (A.S.A.P.).
