Cheri Dueker, LPC

Cheri is a graduate of Webster University and has extensive experience working with military personnel and their families, disaster and crisis situations, as well as juveniles within the legal system. Hope Heller joined Provident in October of 2014 and has experience working with: children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders; adolescents with conduct and substance abuse disorders; young adults with transitional concerns and those entering the College level of their academic careers; geriatrics dealing with losses and limitations; and adults both from the community and as a portion of the adult forensic population.
Prior to joining Provident, Hope was the Sex Offender Specialist for the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole for Southeast and Eastern Missouri. She is originally from Kansas City, Mo. and formerly worked for the United States District Court (USDC) seeing adult forensic clients on federal supervision. A large portion of Hope’s forensic experience is related to her work in Maximum and Super Maximum Security level Penitentiaries in the state of Missouri.
Hope has experience working in penal institutions, psychiatric hospitals and the community. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Park University in Parkville, Mo. in 2001 and her Terminal Masters of Science degree from Avila University in 2006. Hope is a Doctoral candidate needing only her dissertation to complete her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Margaret utilizes a strength-based approach to improve and reinforce relationships between children and their families. Nancy Mesey was inspired to become a therapist as a result of her own positive experience receiving counseling. She initially earned her Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology at Lindenwood University and then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, also at Lindenwood. Nancy has extensive experience working with different populations, ranging from adolescents to adults to senior citizens. She also has valuable experience working with varying issues such as substance abuse, mental health and gerontology.
Her previous work settings include the adolescent outpatient clinic at Christian Northeast Hospital, a residential treatment facility for adolescents and Chestnut Health Systems for mentally ill adults. Since coming to Provident in March of 2011, Nancy has made many significant contributions. In April of 2012, she established an ongoing self-injury support group for youth which is held at our West County Office. She has written a number of informative blogs for our website. Tracey has experience providing individual and group therapy within an outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment setting.
